Genny il Pellettiere wins the Accessories competition
Abbi by Volpi wins an award with the “Best Display”


This year too the Mipel...issima competition has rewarded the excellence of operators in the sector in the areas of Quality, Product Innovation and Image & Communication.
In the “Quality” category it was David & Scotti who won through, thanks to its new Luxury line, with precious materials and leathers, inspired by the colour purple. Ciak Roncato was awarded the “Image” prize, with the new Vintage series of suitcases, a travel set with trunks, weekend bags, beauty cases and trolleys in ultra-modern materials: laminated PVC, aluminium finishes, with great care devoted to the cotton and micro-fibre interiors: super light and indestructible.
For Product Innovation, recognition was given to Angi Designer, thanks to its patented models of elegant bags embellished by metal buckles and important applications.
The “Accessories” competition was won by Neapolitan company Genny il Pellettiere, which presented women’s belts with precious buckles, real jewels to bring to life, while the men’s line is inspired by the seventies, with tartan patterns and leathers in trendy shades. Finally, the “Best Display” award went to Abby by Volpi, thanks to its totally original stand layout: the walls had prints of elaborate chandeliers, giraffes, flamingos and handbags. The bags proposed were very appetising, fresh and undemanding: printed fabrics with animal motifs, corduroy, satin and moquette.
Great success also for “FuoriSaloneMipel”, where it was possible to buy bags and accessories from the previous season at factory prices. All the proceeds went to humanitarian non-profit organisation Soleterre.
